Nimbus Hire is a recruitment platform operated by Drift Nimbus (driftnimbus.com), Zimbabwe. This policy explains what personal information we collect through Nimbus Hire and the careers sites hosted on it, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Who is responsible for your data

When you apply for a job through a careers site hosted on Nimbus Hire, the employer that posted the job decides why and how your application data is processed and is the controller of that data. Drift Nimbus processes it on the employer's behalf to provide the service. For the accounts of hiring teams and for visitors to our own pages, Drift Nimbus is the controller.

What we collect

• Applications: the name, contact details, CV, answers and any other information you submit when applying for a job.
• Team accounts: name, email address, organization details and the activity of hiring-team members inside the product (notes, ratings, stage changes, interview schedules).
• Email activity: whether messages we send on an employer's behalf were delivered or bounced, so that broken addresses can be handled.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, pages visited and timestamps, recorded in server logs and used for security and troubleshooting.

How we use it

We use this information to run the hiring process you take part in, to send the emails that process needs (application receipts, interview invitations, status updates), to keep the service secure, and to comply with the law. We do not sell personal information and we do not use application data for advertising.

Cookies

Nimbus Hire uses only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to protect forms against forgery. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Where data is stored and who sees it

Data is stored with our hosting and infrastructure providers (application hosting, database, file storage and transactional email). These providers act under our instructions and may be located outside Zimbabwe. Inside the product, your application is visible only to members of the employer's hiring team.

How long we keep it

Employers control how long applications are kept and can delete them at any time. Account data is kept while the account is active and removed within a reasonable period after closure. Server logs are kept for a limited period for security purposes.

Your rights

You may ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. If your request concerns a job application, contact the employer you applied to; we will support them in responding. For anything else, or if you cannot reach the employer, email hello@driftnimbus.com.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
